Meredith Hosek is a dual degree MD/MPH student at UT Health San Antonio currently working as a COVID-19 Response Research Intern for the Division of Infectious Diseases. In this position, she assists with the recruitment and outreach efforts for COVID-19 vaccine trials and oversees the COVID-19 ID Virtual Outpatient Clinic. Meredith’s research experience includes an investigation of women’s health in a Guatemalan prison and an ongoing adult nutritional intervention at a San Antonio Muslim mosque. Meredith graduated from Southern Methodist University in 2016 with a B.S. in Health & Society and a B.A. in Chemistry.
